Forensic Comparison Software ("FCS", "we", "us", or "our") operates this website and related account services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how users can contact us about privacy requests.
We collect information needed to operate accounts, support customers, and protect the service, including:
If you choose to sign in with Facebook, we receive the information Facebook makes available for login, such as your Facebook account identifier, name, and email address. We use this information only to create, secure, and manage your FCS website account. We do not sell Facebook login data.
We use cookies that are necessary for login sessions, security, and normal website operation. The public website may also use analytics to understand broad usage patterns. Browser settings can usually block or delete cookies, but some account features may not work without necessary cookies.
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the site, host infrastructure, process email, provide analytics, or support customer service. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the service, or to enforce our rights.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including account operation, support, security, legal, tax, accounting, and licensing records. Some records may be retained after an account is closed where required for legitimate business or legal purposes.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to limit access to personal information and protect account credentials.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. To make a request, email enquiries@forensic-software.com from the email address connected to your account and include "Privacy Request" in the subject line.
For Facebook Login users, this is also the process to request deletion of data received through Facebook Login. Account deletion or data deletion may remove access to downloads, licenses, support history, or other account features. We may need to keep limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal, or contractual reasons.
Dedicated user data deletion instructions are available at /data-deletion.
This website and its account services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may process and store information in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. By using the site, you understand that information may be processed outside your state, province, or country.
We may update this policy as the website and services change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to enquiries@forensic-software.com.
